My offshore angling experience out of Marathon was with Capt.Dave and as opposed to other charters, Capt. Dave explained with out yelling how to catch fish and enjoy yourself at the same time.The king mackerel experience was awsome, as well as the cleanliness and great condition of all of his equipment.Overall I would rate my offshore fishing experience aboard the the Sweet E'Nuf to be the best yet!!!!

We went on a all day charter on 2/8/08 and had a great time. caught quite a few fish with the highlight being a 45 lb. Kingfish and watching a 4-5 foot brown shark. The wind was blowin’ and we were catchin’ fish. We all had a great time at the hump catching A.J. shark, tuna, and dolphin. I’ve never jigged for tuna before. It was a hoot! This is my second time with Capt David. He’ll get you on fish no matter the conditions. David takes fishing very seriously, will give you great pointers along the way, and he’s easy to work with. As a trained chef, he’ll give you a few secret recipes while he cleans your fish! Loved the sushi setup at the cleaning station…great touch. We had a great time and we’ll be back next year.

Read your new report, thanks for the compliment, we all had a great time and lets face it, the Captain can make or break a charter even if you catch fish. We really enjoyed your professionalism and friendliness and giving that extra effort (going out for bait at night with us). We will be down again sometime, guarantee that, just not sure when yet. It is tough to save that kind of money but not impossible. I am definitely hooked on Marathon fishing thanks to you!

My family and I would like to thank you for another memorable fishing trip in the Florida Keys. I have fished with many captains over the years and can honestly say that every time we go fishing I am confident you can put us on some fish. Your ability to work the open water and deep and shallow reefs is amazing. Best of all you can do it in one trip! I enjoy mixing it up and you are on of the few folks out there you can do it well! This years trip was truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was amazing to see a Mako shark circling the boat for ½ hour. Hi-def TV can’t replicate that! Who would have ever thought you could catch Makos on 100lbs of Swordfish meat? I am sure you are a local legend with that story. Now that we have hooked one, I can honestly say I wouldn’t do it again. That was back breaking labor and I am on vacation! If he didn’t break the line, I would have blown my back out or dehydrated I am quite sure. Fresh tuna sushi dockside was also a first for me. It is always a pleasure seeing you. Picking a Charter is always a little challenging. There is the fear of the unknown. This was our third trip to the Keys and the first time my wife and I would be fishing with Captain Dave. We had booked one day of reef fishing and planned on renting a boat and going it alone for a couple other days. Dave put us on some big Yellowtail and shared all he could to prepare us for going it alone. Had such a great time with Dave we figured another day was money well spent. We booked him again for later in the week and this time headed offshore for some great Dolphine fishing. Brought home over 100# of fresh Dolphin and Yellowtail.
